We stopped by Cool Beans to spend some time with the kitties. They are all rescues and available for adoption. I had a Carmel macchiato that was pretty good. The cats were a bit timid, but happy to play with you. There are lots of toys around for you to engage with the cats. A few were cuddlier than others. Cool Beans has a very relaxed energy and the decor is quaint and cute. It is clear the kitties are all well taken care of. I would totally recommend this cafe to all cat lovers!

Amazing little cat cafe in the heart of downtown Gastonia. They have an assortment of coffee, tea, bakery items, and snacks for you to enjoy while indulging in the absolute cuteness of adoptable cats.

This place is so adorable and amazing you can tell they really care about the cats and there’s some rooms that’s off limits(i believe just for the cats/employees) and it’s an amazing idea to let the cats be able to take time away if it’s crowded!! The rules are very simple and easy to follow for their safety and all of the cats are sweet they either rubbed against my hand or gave me a kiss, some are silly about trying to get the straw to your drink. (we didn’t pick up the black kitty i think his name is Sags he hopped onto my BF to try to get his straw but we respected every rule for their safety) I also love how you can adopt them as well, MASON MY BELOVED ILL MISS YOU FOREVER i wish i could have gotten him i love his little curly belly and his cuddliness!! We got a hazelnut frappe and a lavender frappe and it was so yummy! The girl who helped serve us was also so sweet and informative on all their names and personalities this place is an 11/10 we’ll definitely be back soon hopefully to adopt! Thank you so much :D

This place has the absolute best coffee!! It’s also locally roasted. I love their mission too. The staff is always friendly and kind! Highly recommended!

Amazing staff and coffee. The cats are clearly very loved and very well taken care of! Love that they have rules in place for the safety and wellbeing of the cats. Shows how much they take caring for the cats seriously. Was very cheap compared to other cat cafes. Me and my friend can't wait to return next Thursday! Highlight of my week.

I’ve been three times & I love it here! Everything is reasonably priced & getting to pet the cats is so therapeutic for me. They’re so friendly and sweet! I love the business and everything it stands for, you can always catch me coming back to chill with the kitties & sip on an iced latte. :)

We enjoy stopping by Cool Beans! Their new location is great! They offer a good coffee menu, and tasty muffins/cookies/brownies to snack on while you play and snuggle with the kitties! The staff is always friendly, and there is plenty of parking. They do limit the amount of people allowed in the kitty area at a time, which is great for the guests and the cats.

10/10! The cats were adorable, Jonas was particularly friendly. My partner had a hot tea (they have several sugar/sweetener options to choose from) and I got the iced caramel macchiato- it was absolutely delicious! I included a picture of my drink and some of the cats

Summary: superb coffee, fun atmosphere, great place to chill yourself or with some friends or family! I got a plain latte, as I usually do and it was exceptionally tasty- bold and smooth. I stumbled on this place on the way home from a family outing and thought I’d treat everyone to a fun experience- and fun it was! You pay a fee to get in the 3 rooms where the cats are and you must chill and pet them as they come up to you. There’s little toys if you want to try to entice them to play. I highly recommend going here, even if you only like coffee- there’s plenty of seating away from the cats, with a book area and a table. My family knows I’m not normally a cat fan, but I had a good time! All in all it was a great experience and we’ll certainly be back soon- me mainly for the coffee, my family mainly for the cats.
